Meet Josh, the builder behind Dura Core.
Every job gets the same standard Josh learned years before he read his first set of plans: do it right, or do it again.
Josh grew up on a farm, working timber from a young age thanks to his family's sawmill. That grounding is where his standard for a job well done started, and it stuck. By high school it had turned into a real trade skill, good enough to see him compete at the WorldSkills Competition.
Today, Josh runs Dura Core Building as a sole trader (Licence 394301C), building new homes, renovations and extensions across the Lithgow region. He is currently deepening his knowledge of building science and getting accredited to be a certified Passivehaus tradesperson.
Built once, built right isn't just a slogan, it's how Josh was taught to work. Outside of work, he's still on the family farm, helping out locally where he can, and travelling when time allows.
With Dura Core, there's no call centre. Just Josh and his trusted network of trades, on site, from first conversation to final walkthrough.
